Wedding Story: Nancy and Dickie

Hello, hello, hello...   David here.

Today is my inaugural post for Story Photographers with the posting of my first wedding that I covered all by myself.  Completely solo.  Ashley stayed home in order to attend a few meetings with her mother in Raleigh while I traveled back home to Jacksonville.  Last weekend some very important people to my family were married at First Baptist Jacksonville.  Nancy Sosa and Dickie Powell were such a delight to photograph and a joy to be around.  That joy made its self evident in their pictures.

Here we go.

yea. great job david.

the faux tilt shift is a little too faux-y for me though--i think if you used a different softening technique it could be pulled of a little better--one that didn't show sharp lines and detail.

my favorite is that stalker shot over the guests shoulders during the ceremony. very nice.
