Engagement Story: Kristen and Jordon

I had the good fortune of having two beach shoots, two weekends in a row!  After watching fireworks with David's whole family- grandparents, parents, brothers, aunt/uncle/cousins-on the waterfront in downtown Wilmington, I woke up the next morning early to meet Kristen and Jordon on the beach.  Kristen went to high school with Amber and had seen their engagement shoot- she knew immediately that is where they had to have theirs done as well.  The sky and the water were both gorgeous shades of blue around the Johnnie Mercer pier...

What better way to start off the morning than by 

dancing on the beach with the one you love!?

Jordon is so classy and totally worked these shoes on the beach.

I'm not going to lie- I was impressed.

The water was so clear and tropical looking... 

I promise I did not make that color up and yes, that was on the NC coast!

This might be my favorite of the morning...

We drove around a bit a discovered this adorable marina right by the bridge that takes you from Wilmington to Wrightsville Beach...

They totally pull off the glamorous yacht owner look in this one, don't you think?

Jordon bragged on Kristen and said she could be a model-- heck yeah she could!

Kristen and Jordon-  You guys were awesome to get up early the morning after a holiday to avoid storms/people/heat/sun/etc.  I hope that the rest of your beach vacation was restful and fun!
