Personal Post: Etsy!

I joined the bandwagon a little late, but I LOVE ETSY!  It is so fun to browse around and see what people have created.  Just had to share with you two very fun things I have found on Etsy that pertain to Story Photographers...

Let's just be honest- I sweat a lot when I shoot in the summer.  I get intensely focused on what I am shooting- and HELLO it's hot around here- and I just sweat.  When I am not in the middle of shooting, I wear my camera by it's strap.  By the end of a wedding the strap rubs my neck raw- not cool.  Not to mention that camera straps are ugly, right!?  So I found this WAY CUTE solution to my problem in these strap covers by Shealynn.  Not only is my strap more comfortable, now it is adorable!  I had the hardest time trying to decide which cover to try out first...

Then for my anniversary gift, David let me pick out a few pieces from my favorite Etsy jewelry store, birdzNbeez.  I love this girl's style and also had a hard time trying to decide which necklaces I love the most.  Sometimes she makes the same style multiple times, other times she will make one of something and that is it.  I had seen other camera jewelry that I thought was cheesy, but this I gave into and will especially wear it to shoots...

HELLO!  A storybook and a camera.  Get outta here.
