The girls got ready in the kids room at the church...
which gave us LOTS of fun color to work with.

LOVE this- Lauren and her mother-in-law-to-be read
everyone an article about "How to Pull Off an Appropriate First Kiss" at the alter.

Because of the time change, Lauren and Perry decided to have a first look so that they could do pictures at Lake Wheeler, a beautiful and special place for them. Perry's reaction to seeing his bride in the romantic afternoon light by the lake was so sweet-- I'm not going to lie, he was not the only person with tears in their eyes!

So dreamy and romantic...

If you are friends with us on Facebook you saw the "behind the scenes" on this shot...

No you are not seeing double and these are not twins
(I mean, I didn't bother to clean up the seam in photoshop)...
just a sassy-cute flower girl!

Let's get married!

Grabbed a few lovie moments on Fayetteville Street...

The reception was at the funky Meymandi Theatre at the Murphey School. Loved it.

To smash or not to smash...

Lauren is one of those people that loves to pop bubble packaging...
so she made all her dreams come true and had her entire wedding party, family and guests dance on bubble paper! It was loud and everyone loved it!

Lauren and Perry: What an all around gorgeous day! David and I love getting to be a part of your wedding day story-- we felt like we had known you guys for years. We hope your honeymoon was relaxing and refreshing!!

I just went through the entire blog and I have to say, you can definitely see vast improvement over time! I'm amazed at how good these recent pics are :) Just some work on the overexposure in some of the outdoor shots and I think there's award winning material here!
