Wedding Story: Kara and Matt

DRT_5995 copy

One of the perks of my job as a photographer is getting to travel all over the state AND the country to do all kinds of shoots. Last weekend David and I travelled to the mountains to Rutherfordton, NC for Matt and Kara's wedding (remember Kara's bridal shoot?). This wedding was particularly fun for me because many of my best guy friends growing up are good friends with Matt and were in the wedding.

I love it when brides are surrounded by their favorite women...

At each wedding we make sure to get a shot of the
bride with each bridesmaid and the groom with each groomsman.
Kara's colors were green and pink so when I spotted this pink wall I was giddy!

Would you believe that this cute little man posed like this BY HIMSELF?
Soooo cute. He stole a few hearts that day.

I would not normally pick on a wedding guest but this man in the front is practically my older brother so he will forgive me (right Matt??). Please note the circled garter. Then note where Matt is looking. SOMEHOW he still ended up with the garter.

A family tradition for Kara:
the ladies put on shows and we got a taste of that!

Kara and Matt: Thank you so much for inviting us into your wedding day! It was so much fun to watch all the people that love you most show you love and celebrate you two. I hope that the honeymoon was so relaxing and that your life together is off to a great start this week!

I loved them all, but especially the pink background ones, ring pictures & the ones of the bride & groom in the courtyard. AWESOME! :) as always.
